What is my mission?

I find that these values within my mission guide me to make the ideal decisions for my growth. It also leads to me becoming an example for others.

Where have you worked?

Most recently I’ve been working at Guidance Residential as an Account Executive, from May 2021 to present day. Prior to this I was a Senior Business Consultant with EY, Sr. Strategy and Financial Analyst with Meridian Brick, Sr. Financial Analyst with Home Depot (formerly HD Supply), Global Transformation Analyst with Colgate Palmolive and so on.

What have you achieved in the workforce that can speak to your strengths?

Guidance Residential – Sales Account Executive (May 2021 to Present)

  • Achieved 170% of Revenue Quota Target and earned recognition as Rookie of the Year for 2022. $17 Million in total sales from 52 closing at an average $326K per unit.
  • Devised national target maps & created new account executive strategies to expand market share utilizing data & analytics.
  • Raised operational efficiency of all account executives in Southeast by 5-10% by setting up data mining to identify new strategies.
  • Led the Process Improvement Team & influenced the design & deployment of collaboration tools between sales & underwriting, increasing efficiency streamlining & automating processes.

Ernst and Young (EY) Senior Business Consultant (May 2019 to May 2021)

  • Developed new SOPs for monthly close processes across EMEA, APAC, & LATAM for a reduction of $10 Million+ in costs and 300 in headcount by implementing SAP, & simplifying C2C & P2P processes.
  • Collaborated with BCG to set up GBS Centers in EMEA, LATAM, established SLAs with KPIs for the respective GBS organizations & parent company.
  • Led remote teams across EMEA, Asia, North America, and LATAM.
  • Developed analytics from scratch for contract/marketing spend
  • Assisted with site selection for Manufacturing Facility.
  • Managed Marketing, Finance, Accounting, & IT projects within EY across 46 countries with the PMO team

Meridian Brick – Senior Financial & Strategy Analyst (Jul 2018 – May 2019)

  • Reduced processing time by 20% by redesigning sales & marketing analytics, inventory trackers, & raw materials invoicing processes.
  • Drove down inefficient sales practices, & rationalized SKUs to increase profitability by $350,000 from Aug to Dec 2018.
  • Developed Board Pitch Decks utilizing historical data, and financial proformas for Lonestar/Hudson Advisors (Private Equity Firm).

HD Supply – Senior Financial Analyst (May 2017 – Jun 2018)

  • Initiated and led process improvement strategies to streamline Property Improvement core business operations overseas resulting in $1.68 Million in savings from May to December 2017.
  • Assisted in monthly close process, by validating true account balances, and utilizing our reconciliation process for accounts related to the Sales Finance Teams.
  • Built forecasting models & ad-hoc reporting for Sales Operations and Finance Teams resulting in 95% accuracy with 5% margin of error per Merchant Category & Metropolitan Statistical Areas. Reports were always sent to CFO, VPs, & Directors
  • Engaged with stakeholders to drive down marketing & labor costs resulting in a $500,000 savings from June to December 2017.

Colgate-Palmolive – Global Transformation Analyst (Jun 2015 – May 2017)

  • Migrated Credit to Cash (C2C)/Gross to Net (GtN) activities with GAAP & SOX compliance, including deduction analysis, cash application, credit management, & collections, to service centers located in Warsaw, Mumbai, & Mexico City
  • Assisted with org design, working capital analysis, documented existing & new processes, and analyzed performance.
  • Monitored & assisted with Credit to Cash (C2C), Record to Report (R2R), and Procure to Pay (P2P) activity within LATAM, EMEA, APAC Regions.
  • Interviewed 150+ people to create intra-organization synergies for Corporate Transformation on a Global Scale, collaborated with upper management and KPMG for strategy execution.
  • Implemented a new SAP sub-system, SAP FICO, every 3.5 months with new financial controls & reporting tools for EMEA, LATAM, APAC, while maintaining current reporting and consolidation for migration & key stakeholders.

Colgate-Palmolive – Revenue Analyst (Dec 2014 – May 2015)

  • Generated Ad-hoc reports with Excel & SAP, for various projects across North America & Canada, resulting in a targeted approach to relevant business issues, such as analyzing deductions from our customers, from a revenue standpoint.
  • Used SAP to generate weekly/ monthly revenue reports analyzing exceptions providing a plan of action, utilizing excel to analyze & report to my team lead & upper level management.
  • Effectively managed CVS, Walgreens/Duane Reade, & Rite Aid accounts by processing, & analyzing excess of $5 million in open activity on a weekly basis.

Colgate Palmolive – Trade Investment Analyst (Jul 2014 – Dec 2014)

  • Developed new tools in Excel for the Trade Investment Team to analyze post audits, & invalid claims for promotional items, effectively reducing the time to analyze claims by 50%.

  • Mentored students in our local community, where one student was able to get a job in Investment Banking with Citi in Industrials.
  • Established Purchase & Sale Agreements for family restaurants & created Proforma financial models. Set up front & back-end procedures, established accounting systems for reconciliation & bookkeeping. Set up Meta, Instagram, and LinkedIn Ads, as well as created graphics to then be utilized in digital and traditional marketing, to establish market awareness, conversions, & establish reach.

I have a Bachelors in Finance with a concentration in International Business from Georgia State’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

Do you have any activities, interests, or hobbies?

  • Carpentry, I love making furniture for my wife and for myself
  • Biking, ever since I was three years old biking has been a hobby and passion and has never left me.
  • Squash, I truly enjoy its a sport that I’ve played for over 14 years and it engages my body top to bottom.
  • Marketing & Media Creation is something that I’ve always been interested in whether it was creating this website or creating some of the graphics for a buddy’s marketing company I find it engages a different side of my brain.
  • Reading Business Books, only after leaving college do I find a way to enhance myself by reading books on self development, autobiographical accounts, investing, and other miscellaneous topics which then help me build a repertoire of knowledge for me to bring unique solutions.
  • Learning Languages, as you may have noticed in the skills section languages are a passion while driving I’m usually learning a new language, lately Chinese & Arabic have been on the mind.
  • Mechanical Engineering, as a child I have been fascinated with engines and electronics, maybe this was brought about by my father who happens to be a Mechanical engineer.
  • Electrical Engineering, recently I was trying to read diagrams on how to wire my classic 1987 BMW 325is and I began to realize how the intersection of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering came together to make the modern cars of today.
  • Cooking, is a staple in my household whether its Indian or Pakistani dishes, my mother made this near and dear to my heart.
  • Real Estate, its always been a topic of interest as people in my life have invested in Real Estate whether it was my paternal grandfather investing in buildings or in businesses.
